Our Mission Statement

Faith Lutheran Church preschool exists to provide young children a safe, loving, Christian environment where they may learn of Jesus our savior and gain a firm foundation on which to base future learning experiences.

Faith Lutheran Church Preschool

Faith Lutheran Church offers a Christian alternative to preschool education. Children learn the fundamental basics needed for their elementary school experience, as well as the Good News that is Jesus Christ.

Marie Pittman is our preschool teacher, as well as our director. She is a retired school teacher with many years experience teaching in the public school environment, as well as serving Faith as Sunday school teacher. Her unique qualifications are truly a blessing for the children she has been given the opportunity to teach.

We have offered preschool to the Madison community since Marie's retirement from the public school system in 1999. Over the past 6 years, we have had the unique opportunity not only to prepare children for kindergarten, but also share with them the fact that Jesus Christ loves them even more than their moms and dads.

The children attend "chapel" service on Wednesday mornings, which consist of a Bible story taught to them by Pastor Pflug in our sanctuary. They also are taught Christian songs and hymns, along with familiar Bible stories. The children also receive the opportunity to have professionals such as police officers, firefighters, and dentists come and share information and educate them about what they do. Field trips are scheduled throughout the year and include trips to a farm, the park, and the airport.

Classes are held 3 days a week - Tuesday through Thursday - from 8:30AM til 11:00AM and follow the Madison school system's vacation schedule. Tuition for preschool is $65/month, with a $25 registration fee and a $10 supply fee. Click here for a glimpse of what the children are learning.
