Wednesday Night Mid-week Bible study
|
|
Our Sunday school begins at 9:15 with classes for preschool through high school aged youth, as well as adult class led by Pastor Pflug.
The children (through fifth grade) begin their classes with a short time to sing praises to the Lord, then go to their respective classes for a time of learning about Jesus.
The junior high and high school aged youth participate in a class that studies Bible stories, as well as discusses timely topics that point to Biblical answers to questions that they may have.
The adults study a wide range of topics, as well as certain books of the Bible, with active, and sometimes, lively discussion.
Our divine service starts at 10:30AM with Holy Communion celebrated on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of each month.
Class starts September 11th!
Adult instruction classes are held periodically and allow those who are interested to learn more about what Lutherans believe and teach.
Although it is designed primarily for those who may in interested in joining our congregation, it also serves as a good reinforcement of the teachings that many "seasoned" Lutherans may have taken for granted.
The classes are held on Monday nights from 7 to 8:15PM. Please E-mail us, expressing your desire to learn more about the Lutheran faith! Check our weekly activities page for this and other worship opportunities.
Wednesday Evening Mid-week Bible Study

Our Mission Guild is a combination of two ladies auxiliaries, the Ladies Guild and Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML).
This monthly meeting consists of a Bible study led by Pastor Pflug, followed by a meeting to plan upcoming events.
Our LWML/Guild supports seminarian students and missionaries through special offerings and gifts.
The ladies meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00PM, lasting until approx. 8:30PM. Check our weekly activities page for this and other worship opportunities.
The men of Faith come together once a month for breakfast, fellowship, and Bible study.

Light From the Cross is a radio ministry that proclaims the Good News of salvation and forgiveness of our sins through Jesus Christ.
This ministry is the work of several Lutheran pastors who serve Missouri Synod congregations in Southeast Indiana. Each month, a different pastor delivers the saving message of forgiveness and hope in Jesus Christ.
The program airs every Sunday from 10:00 to 10:30AM on WKID 95.9FM. Check our weekly activities page for this and other worship opportunities.
We also conduct worship services on the 5th Sunday of a month in which there are 5 Sundays at the Waters of Clifty Falls. These unique opportunities to share the love of Christ and the Gospel are blessings to both the residents, as well as to Pastor and those who come to share a greeting, a handshake, and just visit with those who may not receive visitors in a timely fashion. Services at the Waters services begin at 2:30PM. Both services last 30-45 minutes. Check our weekly activities page for this and other worship opportunities.
Our congregation reaches out to senior citizens in our community through Bible study and worship service. Every Monday afternoon, Pastor Pflug and other members of our congregation meet at Hope Manor apartment complex to study God's word. Although this study primarily attracts "seasoned" citizens, all are encouraged to attend. Study begins at 1PM and lasts until 2PM. The current study is the book of Ephesians. Recent studies have included the books of Genesis, Matthew, Luke, and Revelation. Check our weekly activities page for this and other worship opportunities.
